Running into the same issue as above where I'm attempting to create a custom SQL alert also for SNMP traps - also using CTE as part of the query, it's not 'allowing' it to follow on...
It would be useful, I guess, to be able to access where Solarwinds is building the Trigger query element (in grey in the top part of the trigger query field) so that a custom trigger query could be inputted to allow the remainder of the SQL query to be run? Does anyone know if this is accessible (to add a new query) & if so, where it can be located? Either in the DB or a system file somewhere...
Where it's commented below, as you'd expect, this solely returns the trigger query output & due to the nature of the query, CTE is required.

Clik here to view.
Can elaborate further if needed and/or post the query... Look forward to some thoughts/feedback
Thanks,
Daniel
