Hi, i am just setting up Storage Manager for the first time and wanted to use an AD security group that my storage admins are a member of to control access to Storage Manager. I have configured LDAP and pointed the base DN to where my users are located (not where the groups are). Then when any user connects they just get the default no permissions screen.
After that i then assign the user to group and they can then see the configured storage. However not until i have assigned them to a group.
How can i reconfigure Storage Manager so that i can use an AD group and they will get access as soon as they are in that group. i don't want to have to add users to a group after their first logon, i would like for them to see what they need as soon as the AD group is checked.
