Ive got a strange event log monitor request. I have a group of developers that are looking to monitor the windows event log for a specific log source and event type(error) to trigger a component to be down. However rather than a polling time causing the component monitor to go back up, they want the component to stay down until a specific text or phrase in the event message body shows up. And then the component monitor goes green after that phrase has been seen. I'm not sure its possible, anyone have any ideas?
