I still have the ticket open to work on this issue and SolarWinds' developer team is looking into this as well. I believe there is some SQL query issue to gather the data to be displayed. Top XX Conversation takes about 2 minutes to generate and it causes some other Top XX pie charts to craw as well. Once I modify the page and remove Top XX Conversation pie chart, I am able to navigate to other NTA pages with ease. But this is not a permanent solution. It is just a work around so I can still use NTA while SolarWinds looks for fixes. You might want to have your support person to look into NTA Storage Database and see how long it takes to query one of the top xx conversation, endpoints or apps etc.. Hope this helps you.
