Hi, I just installed Alert Central and spent the whole day attempting to get Alert Central to see Alerts that are triggered in tests from Advanced and Basic Alerts in NPM Alert Manager.
I fully understand the integration aspect of Alert Central (AC) and NPM.
I disabled my windows firewall that is running NPM (clean install of 2012 R2 with NPM 10.7)
I deployed my Alert Central 1.1.5.688 VM Appliance
I created an email account in Exchange, used it with AC (accepted it and everything was fine in AC when configured)
I took my admin account for NPM and enter it inside of AC when I created an Orion Source (took it ok no issues)
I then went into advance alerts and triggered one of my alerts (yes the "share my alerts" tab is selected on the last page of the settings), and NOTHING appears in AC. If I add in an event that says to 'email' my Orion Alert email address that I configured...THEN it will sent to AC, however because its using SMTP and not the native Orion information, it will not pick up the sources or anything as such. Its no different than a random SMTP message. The pictures of the "alerts" section is me running the same test log after I add in the option to send an email address as well.
